Lead Pastor/Elder
Thomas has served as Crestview's lead pastor since 2009. He and Tricia were married in 1995, and the Lord blessed them with three children who are now young adults. Thomas earned a Doctor of Ministry in disciple-making from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC; an MDiv from Gateway Seminary in California; and a BS in Building Science and Construction from Auburn University in Alabama. Prior to joining Crestview, Thomas worked as a full-time construction project manager and bi-vocational pastor. Thomas enjoys all sports—especially Auburn football and basketball, working out, gardening, and completing DIY home projects with Tricia.
Brandon Vaughn
Elder
Brandon has been a member of Crestview since 2002, and has served as an elder since 2017. He and Dawn married in 2005 and have 3 preteen/teen-aged children. He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Brewton-Parker College and completed some MDiv coursework at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He works full-time as a commercial sales manager for a metro-Atlanta door company. Brandon and Dawn spend evenings and Saturdays shuffling children to soccer and dance. They are big fans of Atlanta sports teams and enjoy going to watch the Braves or United whenever possible.
Rocky Stubbs
Elder
Rocky has been a member for 14 years, initially joining Crestview to serve as worship leader, a role he served in for six years. Crestview recognized him as an elder in 2023. He and Lynn have been married 28 years and have 11 grandchildren. Rocky earned his Specialist in Education degree from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA, and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University. He is retired from a 32-year education career. For over 16 years, he served as a worship leader for several churches. His personal interests include teaching the Bible, missions, prison ministry, gardening, and pickleball. He is very active on his small farm and is currently raising sheep.
Cole Barnes
Associate Pastor/Elder
Cole joined our staff in 2018 and was recognized as an associate pastor in 2023. He and Natalie were married in 2017, and the Lord has blessed them with two children. Cole is pursuing a Masters of Divinity through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He earned his BA in Biblical Studies from Truett McConnell University in Georgia. Prior to joining Crestview, he worked as a Bible teacher and student minister in Georgia. Cole enjoys playing golf, cooking with his family, and playing music.
